Sunday's Walking Program

CEFPI - Adelaide Secrets - Walking Tour Sunday 25 May, 2014

Hello to the 24 people who have expressed interest in joining me for the Adelaide Secrets Walking Tour on Sunday 25th May .

Here's the plan:

12.45 Be ready. Meet at Adelaide Oval (South entrance)
1.00pm Prompt start - leave from there. It will be a quick walk in the Oval - North Tce - University precinct where there is a lot to see.
2.30pm Back to Adelaide Oval (or free time) so you can be ready to register from 3.00pm onwards and assemble for 4.15 start of the conference.

The weather: Currently the forecast is for 23 degrees, but the chance of showers, so bring a brolly - just in case. If it rains, we can go inside a number of buildings.

Coffee options: Next Generation (west of Adelaide Oval) is open to visitors for food, coffee, etc before or after the tour, and will be pleased to see you.

Suggestion: Market Shed on Holland Street.
If you're free on Sunday morning, I recommend a visit to a small but innovative food and fun market. It's near the junction of King William Street and South Tce.
Take the tram (free) to South Tce, cross the road and it's on the western side, half way along the block, down a lane just before CitiZen restaurant.
It's open from 9.00 to 3.00pm but only on Sundays.

It's our History Month - "About Time" has a wide range of events every day in May. Go to www.http://abouttime.sa.gov.au/ for details - or google the title.

Any queries - or a change of plans - send me an email or text 0400 826789.

See you on Sunday

Ann Gorey
